报告题目:Recent Advances in Ultrasonics-driven Nondestructive Characterization and New Application Prospects 超声表征的若干进展与应用新前景

The past decade has witnessed remarkable advances in ultrasonics-driven material characterization. This talk recaps recent progress in quantitative material and structural characterization using high-frequency ultrasonic waves in our Hong Kong-based research group. In particular, a new optoacoustic evaluation approach in conjunction with the use of femtosecond laser technology, has been developed. The approach has been validated by characterizing small-scale defect (with dimensions smaller than 1/10 of the probing wavelength) in aerospace structures and semiconductor chips. In addition, this talk also presents some new application paradigms of ultrafast laser in picosecond acoustofluidics research, featured by innovative photoacoustic tweezers for manipulation of microparticles in a noncontact manner. Last, the talk highlights some new application prospects of ultrasonics-based research including development of ultrasonic healthcare devices.
报告人简介:
苏众庆现为香港理工大学智慧结构与系统讲席教授、机械工程学系系主任,获批国家级人才项目,并自2019年起出任Elsevier旗下Ultrasonics期刊主编,同时兼任香港力学学会副会长。于北京航空航天大学航空工程与科学学院获得航空学学士及硕士学位,继而在悉尼大学航空、机械与机电工程学院获得博士学位。研究方向主要涵盖超声波学、结构健康监测、弹性波传导、传感器、无损检测、智能材料与复合材料。除出任Ultrasonics期刊主编外,目前或曾经担任9个该领域主要期刊的副主编,包括Journal of Sound and Vibration、 Structural Health Monitoring: An International Journal、 Structural Engineering and Mechanics、 ASME Journal of NDE等。担任多个国际会议的主席,包括2018年在香港举办的第七届亚太国际健康监测技术大会、2023年在美国举办的SPIE Conference on Sensors & Smart Structures Technologies for Civil, Mechanical & Aerospace Systems、2024年在美国长滩及2025年在加拿大温哥华举行的SPIE Conference on Health Monitoring of Structural and Biological Systems。2019-2023年间担任SPIE Conference on Health Monitoring of Structural & Biological Systems的会议副主席,2021-2022年间担任SPIE Conference on Sensors & Smart Structures Technologies for Civil, Mechanical & Aerospace Systems的会议副主席,及2026年在中国上海举行的第十一届亚太国际健康监测技术大会的副主席。荣获2012年“结构健康监测-年度成就奖” (Structural Health Monitoring - Person of The Year (SHM-POY) Award)、2015年欧盟科技创新奖(一等奖)、以及2015和2020年两次“教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖”。2022年当选International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV)杰出会士(Distinguished Fellow)。
