郑海荣,女,生于1962年10月。1984年本科毕业于陕西师范大学物理学系,1990年和1999年分别在陕西师范大学和波多黎各大学(The University of Puerto Rico)获得光学专业和凝聚态物理专业硕士学位,2003年在美国佐治亚大学 (The University of Georgia) 获理学博士学位。2003 年至2004年在美国佐治亚大学作博士后研究。2004年至2005年受聘于美国佐治亚南方大学物理系 (Georgia Southern University), 担任助理教授(Assistant Professor)。1995年破格晋升为副教授。

研究领域:
? 纳米材料及凝聚态物质的光学性质,离子间相互作用和能量转移,固体激发态发光动力学, 固体及纳米材料的激光光谱学。
? 稀土元素掺杂的纳米晶体,嵌入在玻璃陶瓷中的纳米颗粒。凝胶溶胶光学材料。
? 高压强下光学材料的发光性质及基质结构的变化对系统能级和发光性质的影响。

研究工作简介:
早期的研究领域涉及喇曼散射,表面增强喇曼散射,溶胶-凝胶光电子材料的制备及其光学性质等。对发生在固体表面上的表面增强喇曼散射的增强机理及其应用进行了仔细的研究探讨。1999年进入博士学位学习阶段后,研究方向转入纳米材料和稀土元素的发光动力学及应用研究,利用非线性及相干光谱学等手段系统地研究了掺杂在纳米晶体中稀土元素的发光动力学过程,并通过其动力学过程的变化探讨了纳米体系独特的光响应过程以及限域效应等。同时,深入研究了纳米晶体内掺杂离子与玻璃态环境的相互作用及由此引发的发光动力学的变化。博士后研究工作期间,主要致力于高压强下光学材料的发光性质及发光动力学等研究, 并由此探讨局域结构的变化对系统能级和发光光谱的影响, 为探索及开发新的光学材料提供依据和指导.
迄今为止,已先后在《Physical Review B》, 《Journal of Luminescence》,《Physics Letters A》,《Microelectronics Journal》,《Physica Status Solidi》, 《SPIE》, 《物理学报》, 及《中国激光》等国际国内学术期刊上发表学术论文20余篇。并应邀在国际学术会议上大会报告交流科研成果。
